Association Of South African Nurses In The United Kingdom
Asanuk is an organisation that works with U.K. professional and trade union organisations in order to enable South African nurses access advice and support, regarding professional development and employment issues within the country.
We liaise with the Officer for Health at the South African High Commission, to Promote an active link with the health services in South Africa.
Our Objectives
- To support the South African nurses, midwives and their families in the United Kingdom (UK) to adjust within the UK communities and work environment.
- To support newly internationally recruited members and their families with integration in the UK by linking them with cultural and traditional appropriate groups in the UK.
- To explore collaborative work with U.K. nurses and Midwives associations and trade unions for the benefit of our members
- To play a supportive role in the advancement of the professional, socio and economic interests of the South African nurses and midwives in the UK.
